Silverlight 2 provides a set of common controls, but what if they don’t meet your need visually or functionally? This session aims to discuss two features of controls within Silverlight 2: templating and creating custom controls. We’ll look at what tools and techniques are available to customize the existing core controls very easily while still retaining the great functionality they provide. When that isn’t enough, we’ll look at how to create your own Silverlight controls and what you need to know to make function with the developer and designer tools.
